GNACOPS and Private School Students Advocate for Peace in Visit to Ghana’s Electoral Commission
On November 13, 2024, a delegation of students from private schools across Ghana, accompanied by representatives from the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), paid a significant courtesy call to the Electoral Commission of Ghana. The visit, led by Obenfo Nana Kwasi Gyetuah, the National Executive Director of GNACOPS, aimed to promote peace ahead of the nation’s upcoming general elections.The students, serving as young ambassadors of peace, delivered a heartfelt message to Mrs. Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission. They urged her to ensure a transparent, free, and fair election process, emphasizing that a peaceful election is vital for the future of Ghana’s children. Their message highlighted the importance of integrity and fairness as the foundation for national unity and stability.Obenfo Nana Kwasi Gyetuah expressed gratitude to Mrs. Mensa for graciously receiving the delegation.
